Job Summary

We are looking for a visionary leader to drive large-scale enterprise data and AI transformations across Vietnam. As a Director - Enterprise Data & AI Transformation, you will shape the future of data-driven enterprises by leading with creativity, purpose, and commercial acumen. You’ll architect transformative journeys for CCBVL—grounded in deep business understanding and powered by purposeful technology.
In this role, you’ll focus on driving growth, leading complex, high-impact engagements, and orchestrating end-to-end transformation initiatives across data, AI, and business innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and lead large-scale digital and data transformation programs that align data, AI, and business reinvention.
• Guide clients in designing data-driven organizations, embedding AI capabilities into their core, and unlocking new sources of value.
• Connect strategy to execution—mobilizing cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, agile outcomes.
• CXO engagement: Deep experience engaging senior stakeholders across industries, with strong storytelling, influence, and negotiation skills.
• Transformation expertise: Comfort navigating across strategy, design, and delivery—with the ability to simplify complexity and drive business outcomes.
• Innovation mindset: Passion for applying emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, data platforms, automation) to solve business problems creatively.
Data Platform & Engineering Leadership
• Design and manage scalable data pipelines and architecture using ADF, Databricks, SQL etc.
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and security across integrated systems.
• Optimize data workflows for real-time and batch processing across DMS, SFA, SAP, and other enterprise platforms.
AI & Machine Learning Development
• Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML models for forecasting, automation, and personalization.
• Oversee model lifecycle management including training, validation, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with business units to identify AI opportunities and deliver impactful solutions.
Business Intelligence & Reporting
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of reporting tools with business KPIs and strategic goals.
Integration & System Alignment
• Drive seamless integration between data platforms and enterprise systems (DMS, SFA, SAP, CRM, ERP, HRIS).
• Ensure data consistency and interoperability across platforms.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to align data architecture with operational needs.
Vendor Management & Performance Improvement
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors supporting data and AI systems.
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of data and AI professionals.
• Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance data literacy across the organization.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
• Partner with business leaders to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Present insights, model outcomes, and platform performance to senior stakeholders.
• Advocate for data-driven decision-making across CCBVL.
• Develop strong relationships with internal business leaders and external partners to support IT transformation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field Min experience 8 years.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Databricks, or Power BI are a plus.
• 8+ years in data engineering, AI/ML development, or related fields.
• 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience with Databricks, Power BI, and enterprise system integration (DMS, SFA, SAP, and other platforms).
• Understanding of business acumen for FMCG businesses- Key metrics, market challenges etc.
• Excellent written and oral English and Local Language.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud-native data tools.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and MLOps.
• Experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data visualization tools.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
