Job Summary

Manage the sourcing of a few categories to deliver the best value for Procurement department's goals from developing procurment strategies and applying to implement best in class, tracking and reporting POV status

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for routine activities (*) in procurement of incumbent categories
  • Contribute to development of category strategies and share best practices
  • Self-learning to improve skills and capabilities
  • Provide training on category management to the team. 
  • Update, consult Manager and get assistance on any difficulty or issue, besides receiving delegation from direct Supervisor in appropriately assigned tasks
  • Handle local and participate in regional / global sourcing activities for incumbent categories
  • Visit, assess performance, capability and degrees of motivation of suppliers to maintain preferred supplier list and improve relationships with key suppliers
  • Initiate savings opportunities and contribute to POV
  • Participate company initiatives, cross-functional/cross-regional projects 
  • Sales involvement
  • Contribute to system and processes improvement and compliance
  • Contribute to risk assessment and management        

Requirements

  • Gruaduated from Engineering University plus knowledges from Foreign Trade / Economics / Finance, or vice versa
  • At least 3-year experience in Procurement from FMCG or 5-year experience from non-FMCG
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, contracting, communication (verbal & written).
  • Results oriented
  • Time management.
  • SAP Knowledge
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders to comply with appropriate Procurement practices
  • Proficiency in MS office
  • Team orientation spirit and focus
  • High proactive attitude
