Job Summary

The W@PoS role ensures we maximize our competitive position in the marketplace. 
The groupgest contributions of the role are Channel and Category Strategy definition, Customer Segmentation, Picture of Success, Execution standards and tracking mechanisms by developing the right capabilities, processes, routines and ways of working in the country.
Work with Marketing Team in identification of issues, trends and opportunities, interpretation of information, gathering alternatives and using the knowledge of the value chain to drive profitable growth. Lead the development of occasion based marketing programs by leveraging shopper & customer insights.
Lead Trade marketing function across Swire and support in hiring, developing and assessing talent to ensure that the Swire markets build a strong channel marketing expertise.  

Key Responsibilities

  1. Define methodology to segment outlets, based on channel, industry size and customer behavior.
  2. Develop a category growth strategy thru portfolio interventions, following OBPPC principles and RGM insights.
  3. Determine Picture of Success and Execution Standards for each channel and customer segment.
  4. Design an Execution tracking mechanism, aligned to Execution Standards and also to RTM reality to ensure reliability and usability of information to promote a continuous improvement process.
  5. Connect continuously with RGM, RTM General Trade and Modern Trade teams to ensure a cohesive Commercial Strategy across the country.
  6. Ensure consistent application of defined methodology for Asset management:
    (a) CDE opportunities and needs, productivity assessment, benchmark.and best practices in administration,
    (b) Glass management: algorithm definition to determine glass requirements, deposit value definition, retrieval schemes, glass indusion mechanisms, Household seeding, exchangeability policies, etc. 
  7. Ensure consistent application of methodology for DME and promo DFR administration: ROMI definition, initiative prioritization, system alignment, DFR rules of engagement, etc., provide feedback for improvement and locatlization needs
  8. Develop a launch pad for NPLs aligned to customer behavior across markets
  9. Connect with Supply Chain, Procurement on innovations capabilities, to identify economies of scale, opportunities and share best practices
  10. Assess Emerging Channels opportunities to develop a growth strategy and execution guidelines.

Requirements

  • University/Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8 Years-10 years of experience
  • Be able to provide strategic vision
  • Understand cross variable data analytics to define strategic directions
  • Business acumen
  • Change management and leadership skills
  • Engage top management level cross function
  • Accelerate decision making processes to enable speed to market
